The second version of Tecnifibre's most comfortable power-oriented racket family is here! Discover the different models of the TF-X1 and learn more about the technologies that make these rackets so unique.
While most tennis rackets with wider tube constructions - designed to easily generate power - are stiff frames that vibrate a lot during ball impact, in the TecniLab they have managed to increase the comfort level in power-oriented frames with the new generation TF-X1 rackets V2 from Tecnifibre. This thanks to the X-Damp technology.
Technologies
You can read below what the different technologies are good for.
X-Damp
This technology was developed to provide power tennis rackets with a high level of comfort. In particular, a piece of steel, wrapped with an elastomer (rubber-like) material, has been incorporated into the handle of the racket to absorb the vibrations generated during the impact of a tennis ball. And with that, the effects that the usual vibrations have on the fatigue of the muscles in the arm are reduced by up to 36%. With the X-Damp technology, Tecnifibre TF-X1 V2 distinguishes itself from the rest of the stiff, power-oriented tennis rackets on the market.
Isoflex
In addition to X-Damp, Tecnifibre has added another technology to these comfortable power tennis rackets, called Isoflex. This can be found in several modern racket families of the French brand. What is the advantage of this? Consistent forgiveness and stiffness across the entire racket blade. That is to say, the goal remains of course to hit the ball in the sweet spot of the racket. But if the ball ends up somewhere else in the blade, rackets with Isoflex technology still remain fairly predictable in terms of outcome. This makes these tennis rackets relatively accessible and easy to play.
What variants are there?
At Tennis Only we currently have three models of the TF-X1 V2 in our range as outlined below.
Tecnifibre TF-X1 V2 300
This is the heavier of the three. This makes this model especially suitable for the (slightly) advanced tennis player, who is looking for a comfortable racket that easily generates a lot of power. The weight of 300 grams makes this TF-X1 V2 300 feel relatively stable during ball impact.
Tecnifibre TF-X1 V2 285
This 285 gram frame is the version that offers enough stability for (beginner to) slightly advanced tennis players and is at the same time relatively easy to handle. The TF-X1 V2 285 is therefore accessible to many, as long as the desire is to add extra power to the strokes, while comfort is also a top priority.
Tecnifibre TF-X1 V2 270
The Tecnifibre TF-X1 V2 270 is the model within our Tecnifibre TF-X1 V2 range that focuses most on handling. The relatively low weight ensures that this variant is easy to swing through the air, even for beginners (to slightly advanced) tennis players. Looking for more stability during ball impact? Then one of the heavier options may be more suitable.
Other
In addition to the models that we have in our own range, there are other variants of the TF-X1 V2. For example, Tecnifibre has developed a model, the TF-X1 V2 305, that focuses on adding a fraction of control and precision within this racket family. The French brand also has two more models with the TF-X1 V2 275 and TF-X1 V2 255 that offer a little more convenience, in the form of a 105 sq in racket head in the 275 gram variant and an extra low weight in the 255 gram version.
