In recent times, the product development team at HEAD has been busy renewing and improving, among other things, the HEAD Gravity tennis racket family. The result of these efforts has now been released worldwide and is now available both online and in our store.
Let's start with the origins of the HEAD Gravity racket family, dating back to 2019. The Austrian brand worked closely with Alexander Zverev to produce a completely new racket family that focuses on feel and control for the modern tennis player. To achieve this, they designed the rackets with relatively thin, flexible frames and a unique sweet spot that is a fraction higher in the head and larger than was previously common in control-oriented rackets.
Technologies
Due to the combination of a relatively large sweet spot and high flexibility, the Gravity rackets generally feel quite forgiving for tennis players with modern, long strokes, while maintaining control and feel. This makes Gravity family accessible to many.
Sweet Zone
The round shape of the racket head and the relatively wide string bed enlarges the sweet spot and increases forgiveness. HEAD changes the traditional sweet spot into a self-proclaimed Sweet Zone.
Flex Groove
The Flex Groove is unique to the HEAD Gravity rackets and refers to the deeper grooves in the frame above the throat of the racket, which lead to a softer feel at ball impact and therefore a higher level of comfort.
Elliptical Beam
The frame has an elliptical shape, which ensures that the racket bends more at ball impact. This improves the feel and control over the ball.
Half Cap
This new technology from HEAD is located at the bumper construction at the top of the frame. Extra protection has been added that ensures improved durability, an unmistakable sound and above all a characteristic feel.
Auxetic 2.0
The second version of the technology that uses advanced materials to provide super accurate feedback, shock absorption and ball feel, among other things, is implemented in all the latest generation HEAD tennis rackets. Now also available in the HEAD Gravity 2025.

To provide many tennis players of different levels with benefits such as feel, control and forgiveness, HEAD offers several models in the new Gravity 2025 racket family, with varying specifications such as weight, balance point, head size, frame thickness and string pattern.
Senior Rackets
HEAD Gravity PRO 2025
This model is mainly suitable for experienced tennis players who are looking for a high level of control and an unparalleled feel in a heavy 315 gram racket, with a relatively large sweet spot. Can you handle the weight and do you produce enough power with your modern, technical strokes? Then the Gravity PRO 2025 might suit you very well.
HEAD Gravity TOUR 2025
This variant has undergone an interesting development in terms of specifications compared to its predecessor. As a result, the new HEAD Gravity TOUR 2025 with its 98 sq in and 16x19 string pattern offers a top combination of extra control, feel and spin potential. In a racket like this one with a weight of 305 grams and 32 cm balance point, these features make the Gravity TOUR 2025 a very nice option for competitive tennis players.
HEAD Gravity MP 2025
This racket is relatively accessible due to its previously discussed features such as feel, forgiveness and control and with its weight of 295 grams, and therefore suitable for many. Are you a slightly experienced to experienced tennis player looking for a racket that helps control your powerful strokes? And do you need accurate feedback and feel during ball impact? Then trying the HEAD Gravity MP 2025 is definitely worth considering.
HEAD Gravity MP L 2025
The HEAD Gravity MP L 2025 is a lighter version. It weighs 280 grams and is therefore relatively easy to handle. The forgiving nature of the flexible frames with large sweet spots within the Gravity racket family makes the MP L an accessible racket and an ideal option for (beginner to) intermediate tennis players looking for control and feel.
