Technologies

In order to be able to fulfill the promises of the Wilson Clash and offer tennis players the combination of power, stability and comfort, the American brand has once again made innovations when it comes to the technologies implemented in the frames of this V3.

SI3D

Starting with the new SI3D technology, associated with the unique, three-dimensional composition of flexibility and stability of the Wilson Clash rackets. This innovation ensures increased vertical and horizontal flexibility of the frames, while the torsional bending remains limited. This leads to maximum power and forgiveness, in combination with the necessary comfort to make the entire racket head feel like the sweet spot.

Click & Go

After introducing this system at the launch of the Wilson Blade V9, the Click & Go technology has now also been incorporated into the bumper and grommet sets of the Clash V3 tennis rackets. These separate elements of the bumper and grommet system allow them to be replaced with ease, thus extending the lifespan of the racket.

Lineup

It is not only the technological innovations that distinguish this third generation of Wilson Clash tennis rackets from the previous ones. The frames have been made a fraction narrower, from 24.5 mm to 24 mm, which guarantees extra flexibility. There has also been an update in the lineup of this racket family. For example, the Pro variant with a 98 sq in racket head is no longer part of this. And the properties of the Clash 100 Pro V3 have been adjusted compared to the V2. The full lineup of Wilson Clash V3 rackets is discussed below.

Senior Rackets

Wilson Clash 100 Pro V3

This new version of the Clash 100 Pro is a fraction lighter than its predecessor. While the V2 weighed 310 grams, the V3 has been reduced to 305 grams. To compensate for the lower weight and to be able to continue to guarantee the high power level, the balance point has been raised slightly. This has changed from 30.6 cm in the V2 to 31.0 cm in the V3. Furthermore, the string pattern of 16x20 and the 100 sq in racket head have remained the same. All these features combined make this model especially suitable for experienced tennis players who want a blend of power, stability, comfort and control.

Wilson Clash 100 V3

Our most popular model in the second generation of this racket family, the Wilson Clash 100, has not undergone any changes in terms of specifications - apart from the slightly narrower frame construction. (Lightly) experienced tennis players from recreational to competitive will experience the desired combination of power, stability and comfort with the weight of 295 grams, 100 sq in racket head, 16x19 string pattern and the integrated technologies.

Wilson Clash 100L V3

As with the Clash 100, this slightly lighter model has not undergone any significant changes in terms of specifications, in addition to the small reduction in frame thickness. This means that the third generation Clash 100L will still be a perfect fit for (beginner to) slightly advanced tennis players looking for a comfortable racket that combines power with the necessary control and forgiveness.

Wilson Clash 100UL V3

With its light weight of 265 grams, the head size of 100 sq in and the 16x19 string pattern, this Clash 100UL V3 is suitable for junior tennis players who are switching to their first senior tennis racket, given the healthy combination of power and comfort that this racket family has to offer. But also for beginning tennis players who want to develop their technique by means of an extra easy-to-handle frame.

Wilson Clash Team 103 V3

This is a completely new model within the Clash family, intended to offer an easier-to-handle option at the weight of 280 grams. Compared to the other Clash at this weight, this specific model has both a slightly larger racket head and a lower balance point. This increases the sweet spot and improves the maneuverability of the racket.

Wilson Clash 108 V3

The most comfortable model within the Clash racket family has also been minimally updated compared to the second generation. The Wilson Clash 108 V3 has a 24 mm thick frame and thus, is half a millimeter thinner than its predecessor. In combination with the SI3D technology, this provides extra flexibility and will make the Wilson Clash 108 V3 even more comfortable.

Junior Rackets

Wilson Clash 26 V3

This is the model for junior tennis players from approximately 140 to 150 cm tall. The material is of comparable quality to the senior tennis rackets within the Clash racket family. This makes this Clash 26 V3 suitable for junior players, from recreational to competitive level.

Wilson Clash 25 V3

This is the model for junior tennis players of approximately 130 to 140 cm tall. The material is of comparable quality to the senior tennis rackets within the Clash racket family. This makes this Clash 25 V3 suitable for junior players, from recreational to competitive level.
