Technologies
Three technologies used in the HEAD Radical tennis rackets are exclusive to this series and are key to its distinct feel and performance. These are: Sound Grommets, Variable Beam, and Control Pattern.
Sound Grommets
This technology focuses on the grommets — the small tubing elements where the strings pass through the frame. They are engineered to optimize string movement, offering exceptional feedback during play, both in terms of sound and vibrations — delivering a playing experience that other rackets simply can't match.
Variable Beam
The frame construction of the modern HEAD Radicals is highly characteristic, featuring varying beam thicknesses along the length of the racket. This design cleverly blends thicker sections for added stability and power with thinner sections that enhance maneuverability and control.

This is the heaviest model in the 2025 Radical series. Radical MP 2025
The Radical MP is the most popular and well-known model in the family. With a weight of 300 grams, a 32 cm balance point, 98 sq in head size, and a 20/23/21 mm beam width, the Radical MP 2025 is an excellent choice for intermediate to advanced players seeking an all-around racket with a strong blend of power, control, and spin potential.
Radical TEAM 2025
The Radical TEAM 2025 is a more accessible option for beginner to intermediate players looking to experience the Radical's trademark versatility. It offers easy power generation, good control, and the ability to add spin to your shots. This model weighs 280 grams, has a 32 cm balance point, a 102 sq in head size, and a 22/25/23 mm beam width — all contributing to its easy-to-handle nature.
Radical TEAM L 2025
This is the lightest option in the Radical family. The Radical TEAM L 2025 weighs 260 grams, has a 34 cm balance point, a 102 sq in head size, and a 22/25/23 mm beam width. Thanks to these specs, it is extremely maneuverable and ideal for beginner players or juniors transitioning to their first adult racket, while still providing a nice mix of power, control, and spin potential.
