The Wilson RF 01 is the latest series and was introduced in 2024 on 08/08, the birthday of the one and only Roger Federer, with whom these rackets were developed in collaboration. To continue the legacy of the Swiss and to - in their own words - herald the future of tennis rackets, Wilson has launched three new models with this launch, with different combinations of weight and balance. In this way, the brand aims to offer both the most experienced players, as well as the tennis players of the future and everyone in between, a top combination of power, stability, feel and control.
Racket Family
This new racket family was created for creative players who want to outdo their opponents with fast play and precise, high-pressure shots. The design and production of the RF 01 rackets started with Roger Federer's initial request for a new tennis racket to Wilson. After a two-year process to perfect the idea, the result is the RF 01 Pro, which will be discussed further below. The other two models, the RF 01 and the RF 01 Future, are lighter, derivative versions of this. The entire family represents the innovative SABR frame design, with a 98 sq in racket head. Two features that ensure the maneuverability and precision of the rackets. The RF 01, with its 300 grams and 31.5 cm balance, offers (light) experienced tennis players a new sense of versatility by combining power, stability, feel and control. The RF 01 Future, with its weight of 280 grams and 32 cm balance, offers the same properties to beginning and lighter (young) tennis players.
RF 01 Pro
This is the model that Roger himself would use, if he were still active on the ATP tour. Just like the rest of the models in this racket family, the RF 01 Pro has a racket head of 98 sq in. The weight and balance of this racket are 320 grams and 31.5 cm, respectively. Compared to his previous rackets, this one is lighter and has a slightly larger racket head. The frame is also a fraction wider. The larger racket head and wider frame would lead you to expect that the speed at which the racket swings through the air would decrease. However, this is not the case due to the SABR frame design and the weight reduction. Moreover, the stability of the RF 01 Pro remains undeniable. For the experienced tennis player, looking for a versatile racket with a desirable combination of power, stability, feel and control, this is a very interesting option.

Features
SABR Frame Design
In collaboration with Roger Federer, this frame was developed for absolute versatility. Due to the aerodynamic, elliptical tube, the RF 01 rackets perform top in areas such as speed, spin and maneuverability. The stable shoulder and neck, in combination with the 'Dual Taper Beam' also ensure the necessary forgiveness.
Glide Guard
Wilson has used new bumper and grommet technology to ensure that these fit perfectly and blend in with their associated frame components, resulting in reduced drag when swinging and a refined, neatly finished look.
BRAID 45
The Braid 45 fibers, which are innovatively placed in the frame, ensure longer ball contact, resulting in improved stability, control and precision.
Feel Fill
The RF 01 rackets are equipped with foam on the inside of the frames, to optimize vibration dampening. This leads to an increased level of comfort during play.
