Tecnifibre Tempo Team Tennis Racket
The Tecnifibre Tempo Team Tennis Racket is the successor to the Tempo 270 and the model in the series that focuses on delivering extra maneuverability. Tecnifibre developed the Tempo line specifically for women, and at 270 grams, the Team is aimed at young competitive players and club players who play regularly and want to bring more speed to their strokes.
The racket features a unique X-SHORT length of 26.6 in (67.5 cm), about 0.4 in (1 cm) shorter than a standard-length racket. This makes the racket easier to accelerate, which translates into more ball speed and spin. The slightly larger 102 sq in head and 16x19 string pattern deliver plenty of power and extra margin on balls you do not hit quite cleanly, and Isoflex amplifies that effect with a string bed that responds more evenly across the entire head. Just like the Tempo Tour, the frame incorporates recycled graphite from the aerospace sector: a high-grade material that adds stiffness and stability while lowering the carbon footprint compared with the previous Tempo 270.

With the Tempo series, Tecnifibre focuses on women: according to the brand, 43% of all tennis players are women, yet tennis has offered hardly any rackets technically tailored to them. The Tempo rackets were therefore developed around their game, with larger 102 sq in heads and, on the Team, the X-SHORT length for extra maneuverability. At Tennis Only, the series consists of the Tempo Tour and Tempo Team, which are also the two models that feature recycled graphite from the aerospace industry.
X-SHORT
X-SHORT is the length adjustment used in the 2026 Tempo series: at 26.6 in (67.5 cm), the Tempo Team is about 0.4 in (1 cm) shorter than a standard-length racket. That small difference makes the racket more maneuverable and easier to accelerate. Using TrackMan radar, Tecnifibre measured that this leads to more swing speed and spin.
Aerospace Recycled Carbon
For this generation, Tecnifibre has partnered with FAIRMAT, a company that collects production waste from the aerospace industry and processes it into high-performance graphite strips. These strips are on average stronger, stiffer, and more stable than standard industrial graphite and are incorporated directly into the frame. According to Tecnifibre, this results in a 14.4% lower carbon footprint and a 15.8% lower environmental impact across the full life cycle of the Tempo Team racket compared with the previous model.
