The Wilson Defyer 100UL V1 Tennis Racket is the lightest model in the Defyer V1 racket family. It brings the DNA of the "Project P" prototypes, already used by professionals on tour, to players who want to generate speed and spin with as little effort as possible. This lets you experience the aggressive playing style of Wilson's new spin racket series in a frame that is exceptionally easy to handle.

With a 100 sq in head, a 16x19 string pattern, a weight of 265 grams, and a 12.6 in (32 cm) balance point, this frame is 20 grams lighter than the Defyer 100L V1 and 35 grams lighter than the 100 V1. That makes the racket exceptionally maneuverable and lets you reach high racket head speed without much effort: the foundation for spin and depth. The balance point puts just a little more weight in the head, so you can give the ball enough pace even with a shorter swing. Torq Shaft Tech adds leverage and stability, the Air Foil Bumper reduces air resistance, and the Dual Taper Beam and Parallel Drilling make the racket forgiving on balls you don't hit right in the center.

The Defyer 100UL V1 is a strong choice for recreational players, beginning club players, and junior players moving up to an adult-length racket who want to experience the spin and speed of the Defyer with little effort.

On this "Concept Edition," the frame reads "Redline" instead of "Defyer." This is a limited print run that will be replaced later on. The racket itself is exactly the same. View Details

Defiant by Design

Wilson Defyer 100UL V1 Tennis Racket

Defyer

The Wilson Defyer V1 series is the official culmination of the highly hyped “Project P” rackets, which, with their black design featuring a red line on the frame, have long been used by ATP and WTA professionals. Designed for relentless players who are accustomed to feel and precision and want to dictate the match with aggressive tennis through extra spin and power.

Torq Shaft Tech

These sculpted frames provide extra leverage, stability, and maneuverability. This allows you to swing with confidence and hit heavy, penetrating spin that forces your opponent out of position and gives you control of the rally. The extra-long handle offers more room for your hands on two-handed shots and provides extra influence on the ball from the top hand. At the same time, the robust, tapered core combines excellent stability and power with sufficient flexibility in the racket head. As a result, the racket effortlessly absorbs heavy groundstrokes, allowing you to return shots with maximum confidence. The ergonomically shaped exterior of the shaft is also specially designed to provide optimal support for your off-hand as you set up for the winner.

Air Foil Bumper

This bumper design is engineered to reduce air resistance and increase racket head speed, resulting in extra spin and power.

Elite Spec Control

This initiative ensures that every racket of this model that rolls off the production line meets strict, professional-level tolerances for weight, balance, and swing weight. When you pick one up, you can be confident that the frame will feel the same today as the one you will buy six months from now.

Dual Taper Beam

This variable beam construction is thinner at the center and top of the frame. Around the 3 o'clock and 9 o'clock positions, the beam is slightly thicker, providing extra power and forgiveness. This helps the racket absorb heavy shots from the opponent, transfer that power, and produce extra-powerful shots.

Parallel Drilling

Consistently hit the sweet spot. Thanks to strategically placed boreholes in the frame, your shots gain targeted precision that elevates your game to a higher level.

Click & Go

This bumper and grommet system allows the bumper to be easily detached from the frame, enabling adjustments to specifications using lead tape beneath the bumper. Additionally, Click & Go makes it exceptionally easy to replace the bumper and grommets in case of excessive wear and tear.
