Further developing our padel department

Padel has become an integral part of the Dutch sports world, and at Tennis Only, we notice this every day. Our focus has traditionally been on tennis and will remain so. However, the demand for padel is growing rapidly, and we want to take this seriously. That is why we are separating padel as its own branch within Tennis Only, complete with a separate webshop. To establish this properly, we need someone who knows the sport, understands the products, and has the drive to turn it into a fully-fledged online and physical department.

What will you be doing?

In the store, you will be the point of contact for everything related to padel. You will advise customers on rackets, shoes, bags, and accessories, drawing on your own playing experience and genuine product knowledge. You will manage the entire padel collection, keep the assortment up to date, and maintain contact with suppliers. A large part of your work will also take place online. You will help build our new padel webshop by filling it with strong content: product descriptions, copy for collection pages, comprehensive buying guides on rackets and shoes, a handy racket finder, and everything else a visitor needs to make the right choice. Essentially, everything we already do for tennis, but built specifically for padel.

Who are you?

• You play padel at a serious level and know everything about the associated products.
• You can write. You produce clear, engaging product descriptions and factual guides that visitors really benefit from.
• You are independent and take ownership. This is your department; you are building it. Of course, your colleagues will help you wherever possible!
• You have a commercial mindset and enjoy selling based on knowledge and honesty.
• Hopefully, just like us, you have a feel for tennis.
• You speak fluent Dutch and can assist customers in English.
